摘要: 本研究針對台灣亞熱帶氣候多變的環境,根據環境資訊、以及使用者行為資訊,探索環境智慧化(Ambient Intelligence)技術在提升室內熱舒適度(Thermal Comfort)與節能(Energy Saving)效率方面的應用。透過融合先進的感測器與資通訊設備,開發出一套能夠根據環境變化及使用者需求動態調整的環境智慧化熱舒適決策支援系統(Ambient Intelligence Decision Supporting System for Thermal Comfort, AI-DSS-TC)。所提出的系統,利用物聯網(Internet Of Things, IoT)技術監測室內環境的關鍵參數,結合人體活動識別機制,將空間環境參數與空間使用者行為轉換為量化資訊,再藉由演算法來推論最佳化空調與風扇設定。進一步,透過多模態環境機器人(Multimodality Ambient Robot, MAR)與AI-DSS-TC系統的整合運用,營造更為直覺且友善的人機互動介面。運用AIoT (The Artificial Intelligence of Things)將建築物智慧化,不僅能提高環境舒適度,同時達到節能與永續發展的目標,將能進一步導入企業辦公環境智慧化的應用,達到環境、社會和公司治理(environmental, social, and governance, ESG)的實踐目標。

Integrating Internet of Things and Human Activity Recognition Mechanisms in an Ambient Intelligence Thermal Comfort Decision Support System


Abstract: This study focuses on the variable environment of Taiwan's subtropical climate, exploring the application of Ambient Intelligence technology in enhancing indoor thermal comfort and energy-saving efficiency based on building space information and user behavior. By integrating advanced sensors and information and communication technology, an Ambient Intelligence Decision Supporting System for Thermal Comfort, AI-DSS-TC) has been developed, capable of dynamically adjusting according to environmental changes and user needs. The proposed system utilizes Internet of Things (IoT) technology to monitor key parameters within indoor spaces, combining a human activity recognition mechanism to transform spatial environmental parameters and user behavior into quantified information. Then, through algorithms, it infers the optimal settings for air conditioning and fans. Further, by integrating Multimodal Ambient Robots (MAR) with the AI-DSS-TC system, a more intuitive and user-friendly human-machine interaction interface is created. Employing AIoT (Artificial Intelligence of Things) to smarten buildings not only enhances the comfort of the space but also achieves goals of energy saving and sustainable development. This can further be introduced into the smart application of corporate office environments, achieving the practice goals of environmental, social, and governance (ESG).
