摘要: 隨著資訊與資通訊科技的不當使用問題愈發頻繁,商管學院也越關注資訊 倫理在商管教育中的角色與功能。國內外有越來越多的大學商管學院開設獨立 的倫理課程,但主題與觀點多元且分散,為了瞭解國內當前商管領域資訊倫理 教育課程的發展趨勢,本研究蒐集台灣通過國際商管學院促進協會(AACSB)認 證之25所大學共1,267門倫理相關課程,並對其中由商管科系開設之325筆倫理 課程大綱進行系統性內容分析。研究結果顯示七成以上為專業倫理課程,證明 商管領域是在企業倫理的脈絡下從事資訊倫理教育,並以「企業社會責任」為 教學重點,個案研究為常見教學方法,並除了一般必選修課程外也運用服務學 習課程進行倫理教育。本研究由網絡分析的角度為國內商管領域倫理教育提供 了即時且全面的實證研究證據,比較過去研究發現,本研究亦指出國內商管科 系在資訊倫理教育上的特色與差異,並根據研究結果提出商管領域資訊倫理教 育在課程與教學設計之建議,研究結果可作為商管教育與資訊倫理教育之參考。

How We Teach Information Ethics in Business Education in Taiwan: A Network Analysis Approach


Abstract: As the issues of information and technology misuse become more pervasive, business schools are increasingly concerned about what and how we should teach information ethics in business education. More business schools worldwide offer standalone ethics courses, but the topics and perspectives are diverse and scattered. In order to form an overview of business ethics education in Taiwan in general and to capture the specific content and goals regarding information ethics, this study collected 1,267 courses from 25 AACSB-accredited business schools in Taiwan, with which 325 available syllabi for systematic content analysis. The results of the study provide a snapshot of the current state of ethics education and issues of common interest in business schools in Taiwan. It is found that over 70% of the courses are about professional ethics, which proves that teaching information ethics in business education is contextually based on business ethics. With corporate social responsibility as the focus of teaching, instructors adopt case studies as a common teaching method and also teach ethics in the course of service learning. This study updates the understanding of ethics education in business schools in Taiwan with comprehensive empirical evidence through network analysis. Compared with the previous studies, the important features and differences of Taiwan’s business ethics education are highlighted, and suggestions for research and teaching practices are made accordingly.
